2-Gun Action Match: 200 Yd Range

Competitors use two different firearms -- a modern sporting rifle (MSR), that is, a rifle built on an AR-platform and a pistol. Matches generally involve courses where the shooter must move through different stages and engage targets in a variety of different positions. Each stage will generally require the use of different firearms and require the shooter to transition between them.

This months match will be focused only on Rifle/Pistol along with time bonuses being offered for competitors that use tactical gear from any country or time period such as armor, helmets, chest rigs, and backpacks, etc.

Shooters will be placed in squads of 4 during sign up. If you have a shot timer be sure to bring it.

Just as it is with the practical pistol matches, 2-gun simulates combat or self-defense situations. A stage provides a certain scenario for using one or more of the guns in a specific sequence. Each stage in each match will usually be different than any you've shot before. 

Micro Stages! Match setup will be similar to 3-gun with all stages being on the same line of fire. We will be shooting almost exclusively steel so no need for people to go down range and reset. We will be trying to incorporate some small movement, nonstandard positions, and non dominant side shooting. 

Please Note: 2-Gun Practice Matches begin at 11 am. The shooter’s brief starts at 11 am. Please be on site, paid, and prepared to start the shooter’s brief at 11 am. Please check-in at the Range Shack and pay fees prior to the 11 am start time. Please get your hand stamped as proof of payment for the RSO prior to shooter's briefing. Thank you!
